Summer Bridge Program

Common Ground, in partnership with Delavan Elementary School, is offering a summer bridge program aimed at reducing summer learning loss and preparing entering students for the new school year. We are blessed to have Peyton Jeckel, a returning Delavan student and current elementary education student from ISU, spearheading this program in its first year. She will also oversee a team of volunteers helping students grow academically.

Summer Bridge Tutoring ($75 for all 6 weeks)

Summer bridge tutoring helps students retain academic progress over the course of the summer. Tutoring is proven to prevent summer learning loss and ease transition into the next grade level. By registering for our 6 week summer bridge program, your student will meet with a summer tutor 2 times per week for 6 weeks (12 sessions). During this time students will review material from the previous spring semester and be exposed to the upcoming fall semester material.

The program will begin on June 21, 2016 and end on July 28, 2016. Peyton Jeckel will be the Lead Tutor for the duration of the program.
