Friday Night Youth Night Closed Until 2017

FYI: We will NOT be having our Friday Night Youth Night for the rest of December. We will start again after the new year.

We’d like to thanks all of you who have helped support our Friday Night gatherings possible. Thanks to all the parents and community members that provided donations, drinks, and snacks for the kids. Thanks to all of our awesome volunteers, who gladly gave up Friday nights to invest in the kids. A special thanks to Casey’s for donating pizza EVERY week for the kids to eat. And lastly, thanks to the Delavan Baptist Church for recently letting us use their gym space and kitchen. We’ve outgrown our previous location and this allows our kids the ability to run off some of that energy they have.

We also want to encourage everyone to support our students by going to their school Christmas programs. We also want to encourage everyone to spend time together with family, friends, and neighbors. Share a meal together, watch a Christmas movie together, or talk over coffee and cookies.

Common Ground exists to bring people together around those things we have in common; our shared faith, our love of community, and love for each other.

We are looking forward to 2017 and hope to see this gathering grow. We hope to see an ever increasing number of kids join us and to see less kids running the streets on a weekend night. We strive to make our Friday Night gathers where EVERY kid feels like they belong and are matter. We’re looking forward to partnering with other area churches for game nights. We’re also excited for new volunteers to join us on this adventure of investing in the youth in our community.

May God remind you of His unconditional love for you and others.

Merry Christmas!
